Watching motor sport on the television is one thing but there is nothing like experiencing the sights, sounds and smells of a motor sport event first hand.
And with 4,500 events taking place every year at hundreds of venues right across the country, the world of live motorsport is within touching distance of almost everyone.
Not only that, a lot of events are so open and accessible that you can actually wander around the paddock, pits and service areas between competitive sessions. And when the action is go, you can often choose which spectator area to watch from. It is generally only at the premier events, such as the British Grand Prix, that the paddock is off limits and your vantage point pre-determined.
And don’t forget: drivers can’t sign autographs through a TV screen!
