to give his backing for the campaign which aims to encourage more people into motor sport as participants, spectators and volunteers.
Motor sport is a great family activity and the Go Motorsport campaign is showing what a variety of activities there are and how easy it is to get involved.
Unsurprisingly the Go Motorsport stand at the British International Motor Show was an enormous attraction to the thousands of visitors who made their way to ExCel over the ten days. It not often you get to see such a fantastic range of cars in one place. The AT&T Williams Formula One car lined up next to Paul Swift’s Mini Special which won no fewer than 11 National Autotest Championships. The impressive line up also featured a mouth-watering Ferrari from the British GT Championship, a 2008 Caterham CSR Masters race car, a pocket rocket supplied by rally team M Sport from the popular Fiesta Sporting Trophy and a racing kart which proved very popular with the youngsters (and their Dads) perhaps hoping to emulate the success of Lewis Hamilton.
