Go Motorsport at the British International Motor Show

Go Motorsport is on the grid at this year’s British International Motor Show held in London at the ExCel exhibition centre from 23 July-3 August.

The Go Motorsport display stand (N150) is located in the North Hall and has been designed to show the breadth of motor sport available in the UK, from the Formula One British Grand Prix right through to grass roots activities for enthusiastic youngsters.   

Thanks to Go Motorsport ambassador Sir Frank Williams this display showcases an AT&T Williams Formula One car. Moreover Philips Shavers, Official Partner of the AT&T Williams F1 team, is running a special competition on the stand. Every day one lucky person will be drawn to win a special Philips AT&T Williams HQ7390 shaver. Philips Shavers is also promoting a unique competition to win a dream drive in a modern AT&T Williams F1 car at Silverstone later in the year.  Click here for more details.

Circuit racing is also well represented by a mouth-watering Ferrari from the British GT Championship plus a 2008 Caterham CSR Masters race car, the ultimate Caterham race specification.

Adding further interest, the Go Motorsport display also includes the Mini Special that has won no fewer than 11 National Autotest championships in the hands of seven times champion Paul Swift and his four time champion father Russ Swift. Waving the flag for rallying, M-Sport has provided one of its pocket rockets representing the popular Fiesta Sporting Trophy, while representatives from the BRDC Stars of Tomorrow will be promoting all levels of karting.

Volunteers in Motorsport will also have a presence, offering advice to people wanting to get involved in any motor sport discipline as a marshal, timekeeper or in many of the other official roles available.

With close to 500,000 car enthusiasts expect to attend the Motor Show, it’s the perfect platform for Go Motorsport to help more people to fulfil their dreams by getting closer to the action.
